The United States Deputy Sheriffs’ Association has established a law enforcement awards and recognition program to honor officers slain while serving their community, as well as officers who distinguish themselves in the line of duty.
The program will feature awards in five categories detailed below.
We have so many outstanding law enforcement professionals out there who distinguish themselves on a regular basis, but who are never recognized for their hard work and dedication,” said U.S.D.S.A. Executive Director Stephen Van Dyke.
“I hope that this program helps to bring much-needed recognition to deserving law enforcement professionals.”
