Because of the tremendous number of requests we have received for equipment donations, it has become necessary for the U.S.D.S.A. to institute a control policy to rank equipment donations in order of "departments most in need" as well by "most needed equipment in the departments in need.: Also, please keep in mind that our goal is to promote officer safety first and foremost. Requests for items that meet that goal, such as bulltproof vests and officer training, etc. will receive top priority.
Toward that end, we need to ask you to answer some questions that we hope will help us make this determination equitably. Please take a minute to complete this form and send it back to me via mail or fax. The address and number are below. Our backlog of requests is tremendous, but we hope to be able to contact you within 30 days of our receipt of your completed form to let you know how we might be able to help your department.
Due to the fact that we must order equipment from various manufacturers, we are also at the mercy of their inventory backlogs. Again thank you in advance for your patience.
